The RBC's - Local Long Island Band To Play Bonnaroo Festival

Merrick, NY (March 26, 2010) In early 2005, inspired by tight reggae rhythm sections & thrashing punk bands, three Hofstra University graduates started what one writer has called "The East Coast answer to Sublime"; The RBC's.

Taking a DIY approach, Andrew, John, & Mike evolved The RBC into the best live reggae, dub, & punk experience on Long Island.

"The sky is the limit for this trio; they really have a bright future" remarked Publicist Rick Eberle of PopCore Entertainment.

Now, their hard work is starting to really pay off. The past few months have seen the band hit milestones that most local acts only dream of - they have been added to the 2010 Bonnaroo Festival and the 2010 Great South Bay Music Festival - with potential stops at other national act opening slots, jam festivals and special events on the horizon.
