Westfield LIVE Continues Friday April 9th with Teen Sensation Michelle Raitzin
Great Neck, NY (March 30, 2010) Continuing Friday April 9th at 7pm, and happening on the second Friday of every month thereafter, PopCore Entertainment presents Westfield LIVE; an acoustic music series which will showcase the hottest local, regional and national artists performing in an intimate setting; Starbucks Court at Westfield Sunrise Mall off of Sunrise Hwy at 479 Sunrise Mall in Massapequa. This month's event showcases Great Neck Long Island's own teen sensation, Michelle Raitzin.
Michelle just finished up her second recording project in Los Angeles with world renowned producer Bill Malina (Alanis Morrisette, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry), and is in the midst of putting together a touring band comprised of other Long Island based musicians for a busy schedule of appearances. Look out for Michelle all over the area this Spring/Summer as she plays events for the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County on Saturday May 8th and at Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ on Sunday July 11th among others TBA.

ABOUT MICHELLE RAITZIN
Michelle Raitzin is an 18 year old rising teen pop sensation from Long Island, New York, with the vocal range of Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion & Mariah Carey coupled with the stage presence and pop sensibility of Rihanna, Katy Perry and Beyonce.
Michelle has not only been featured in Newsday newspaper and on the cover of Good Times Magazine but has also toured Europe & Japan in addition to being featured on Nickelodeon doing voiceovers for Barbie Diaries and Zoey 101.
Her recording work includes "The Littlest Light" Soundtrack, rock band Royal Hunt's "Collision Course" CD, two Barbie Hits CDs and nine Kidz Bop CDs.
Michelle was the WOR Radio's 2008 "Shining Star" winner, out of over 1000 submissions and 60,000 listener votes for her rendition of Celine Dion's "Power of Love."
She has extensive Theater, Dance and Singing training including years of Classical Voice lessons at The Long Island Conservatory and multiple lead roles in staged musicals including Into the Woods and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She has studied Dance extensively and specializes in Hiphop and Jazz.
Her self-titled debut album was released in 2009 through Rondel Records and was produced by Bill Malina (Alanis Morrisette, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry). The album also features Tim Pierce (Miley Cyrus, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen) and Pro J (Christina Aguilera, Usher, En Vogue). Michelle not only sings on the album but also co-wrote lyrics and music to 7 of the 11 tracks on the disc.
